(4/21) Mindset Monday: The Power of Journaling & Reflection
In the fast pace of training and competition, it’s easy to move from one match or practice to the next without taking time to pause. But growth happens when we stop and reflect—when we learn from our experiences instead of racing past them.
Journaling is one of the most powerful tools an athlete can use. It helps you:
-Recognize progress
-Process tough moments
-Set intentional goals for improvement
A journal doesn’t have to be long—just a few thoughts after practice or competition can make a huge difference. What went well? What challenged you? What can you do differently next time?
This week’s challenge:
Write in a journal after every practice. Reflect on one thing you improved, one thing to work on, and how your mindset felt.
